Who’s who

Over the course of 13 years, Lindsay Berkebile has made a significant mark in the animation industry serving as both an animator and director. She has been awarded a Webby Honoree for her commercial work, an Emmy for her work on Robot Chicken, and her music video for Ab Soul & Kendrick Lamar was named a Vimeo Staff Pick. Lindsay animated on Henry Selick’s feature Wendell & Wild, as well as TV shows such as Robot Chicken, Crossing Swords, Santa Inc., and Super Mansion. She’s also directed for clients such as Coldplay, Adult Swim, NIKE, Netflix, Drake, Adult Swim, LEGO, Mattel, and LOL Doll. In her spare time you can catch her wiggling around her weenie dog and obsessively researching World War 1 (it’s WILD!).

Doug Cummings stands out by doing the opposite of fitting in. A versatile creative with a passion for visual storytelling and nurturing collaborative projects, Doug began his journey in sculpture and practical effects. His deep appreciation for dimensional art has guided him through all aspects of fabrication. When he's not in the studio working on commercial projects, you'll find him hosting craft nights, designing his own costumes, exploring new ideas, and always tinkering with something creative.

Formerly a snowboard cinematographer, Jake Hauswirth traded the white room for the black room years ago and has been working as a stop motion lighting camera operator and DP. Having over a decade of experience on commercial and feature film production, Jake has a bit of insight on all of the essential stage production aspects. Jake resides outside of Portland on a hobby farm with his wife and many domestic and wild creatures.

James Morr started out animating LEGO bricks with a VHS camcorder on his bedroom floor, and turned it into a freelance animation career spanning movies, music videos, and television. His work includes creating stop-motion animation for the feature-length documentary “A LEGO Brickumentary”, CGI and pre-vis for TV and music videos, and much more. When he’s not in the animation trenches, he can be found hanging out with his wife and two dogs or running around Hyrule on his Switch.

Paul is a skill growth fiend. While his craft of choice lies in 2D animation, he’s worked professionally as a director, stop-motion animator, sound designer, musical composer, vfx artist, editor and basically anything else that is required in a full scale animation. He’s worked for clients such as Marvel/Hasbro, Apple TV+, Adult Swim, LEGO, NIKE, PayPal, Buzzfeed and many more. When he’s not working on his craft, Paul’s cruising on his bike or chasing loot in Destiny 2.

With a camera in one hand and a pitchfork in the other, Jason is a versatile lighting and camera specialist. In his brief career, he has worked on four feature films, three TV shows, and a range of stop-motion and live-action commercials. Jason won an Oscar as a Camera Assistant on Guillermo Del Toro’s *Pinocchio*, and his time-lapse work for the film has been showcased at the Museum of Modern Art, the Portland Art Museum, and the Academy Museum in Los Angeles. As a Director of Photography, he has collaborated with brands like Nike, Jumpman, MLB, Hoka, and Levi’s. Jason has also shot behind-the-scenes photography for Laika, Adult Swim, Peacock, and Netflix. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, fermenting, and doodling.

Potato is our enthusiastic intern and dachshund puppy here at Planet Super. His core skills include chasing his tail, taking power naps, and making sure the office floor is free of crumbs. While his work ethic leans more toward “treats over tasks,” his puppy eyes are impossible to resist. He’s still figuring out animation (and doors), but his bark of approval is all the encouragement we need!
